QISS Halloween Event 2022

Table of Contents

Halloween is celebrated each year on October 31, and Halloween 2020 will occur on Saturday, October 31. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints in the eighth century.

This year, the student council and teachers planned Halloween events for Oct. 31’s afternoon to celebrate this festival. The event was split into two parts; Both the upper school and lower school departments participated in the afternoon event where their houses and grades split them.

After school, students could attend movie night and afterward activities such as ghost hunts with their parents’ permit.
