QISS Weekly Update: June 2nd, 2017

Dear QISS Families and Friends,

This week was a short week, due to the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. But despite being short in length, the week was not short of activities or learning. On June 1st (Children’s Day) the QISS Parent-Teacher Association, members of the QISS Leadership team, and the 4th and 5th Grade students, teachers and instructional assistants took a trip to the Jimo Hope Primary School to attend their Children’s Day festivities and formally open the basketball court that was built using funds raised by the PTA through donations from members of the QISS community. On Saturday, June 3rd, QISS will host the final quarter Key Assignments and the Spring Concert. Students have been busy putting their final preparations on their Key Assignments this week. We look forward to seeing all members of the QISS community on campus for the final Key Assignments of the year. The Spring Concert is also shaping up to be yet another musical and theatrical spectacular. Mr. Solomon has been working around the clock with students and staff to ensure that the Spring Concert is a fantastic display of the talent within the school. The PTA will also be serving snacks throughout the intermissions. Be sure to get your hands on some yummy homebaked treats.

Key Assignment Day Schedule

Please be aware that there is a PTA General Assembly on Key Assignment day, starting at 8:20am in the theater. Please join us for the final PTA General Assembly of the year.
