Thank you for taking time on Monday or Tuesday to come visit your child’s teacher during parent conferences. Supporting your children academically is important for their success. We invite you to schedule an appointment with any of your child’s teachers when you feel it necessary to have a conversation about their progress at QISS.

월/화 양일간 학부모 교사 정기 상담에 참석해 주신 학부모님들께 감사 드립니다. 자녀들의 학업의 발전을 위한 학부모님들의 관심은 매우 중요합니다. 이후 자녀의 상담이 필요할시 언제든지 담당 선생님과의 상담일정을 정해 상담하실 수 있습니다.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Halloween day was super fun for the kids and staff. Games and activities were organized and run by the staff and some upper school students. The PTA supported the festivities by providing fun Halloween snacks and costume contest awards.

万圣节对我校师生来说是非常有趣的一天。我校教职工及部分高年级学生策划并举办了一系列游戏和活动。家校委员会（PTA）也精心准备了万圣节零食及化装比赛奖品，为活动提供了大力支持。

할로윈데이에 학생들과 교사들이 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 게임과 다양한 활동들이 교사들과 중고등부 학생들을 통해 진행 되었습니다. PTA학부모님들의 할로윈 간식과 할로윈 의상 콘테스트 시상이 제공 되었습니다.

Last weekend, the Varsity Volleyball teams traveled to Beijing to compete in this year’s ACAMIS tournament. The coaches are very pleased with the effort and competitiveness the players displayed all weekend.

上周末，我校排球队前往北京参加了今年的ACAMIS锦标赛。教练对队员们在比赛中表现出的努力拼搏的精神感到十分欣慰。

지난주 본교 배구대표팀이 베이징에서 열린 ACAMIS대회에 참가 하였습니다. 주말동안 열린 경기에서 코치들은 선수들이 보여준 노력과 경쟁력에 매우 만족해 하였습니다.

QISS will host the QISN U14 Girls’ and Boys’ Soccer Tournament this Friday and Saturday. Please come out and support the Sharks as they compete against other schools in Qingdao. The QISS PTA will be selling food and drinks during the tournament as well.

本周末，QISN U14男女子足球锦标赛将在我校举办。QISS将与青岛其他国际学校球队展开较量，欢迎您届时前来为我校鲨鱼队加油助威。我校PTA也将准备食品及饮料，在比赛期间进行贩售。

QISS는 이번주 금,토 양일간 QISN U14남녀 축구경기를 본교에서 개최합니다. 청도에 있는 여러학교들과 경기하는 학생들을 응원해 주시러 오시기 바랍니다. QISS PTA학부모님들께서 경기가 진행되는 동안 간식과 음료를 판매할 예정입니다.

This year, the QISS performing arts department began a beginner band class in grade 5. The students have spent most of the first quarter determining what instrument best suits them based on assessments made by their instructors.
