QISS Weekly Update: 2018-2019 WEEK 4

Dear QISS Families and Friends,

Thank you for your attendance this week at our Open House nights. We are excited about this school year and the staff we have built to support your children’s learning needs. Your children deserve the most qualified and experienced teachers. QISS teachers will continue to support your children emotionally with kindness, compassion and fairness. Thank you for believing in QISS to give your children the best holistic educational experience in Qingdao.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

International Day is Saturday, September 22^nd. This is a required school day for teachers and staff. There is a letter coming home that has more information. Please read and return the last page referencing supervision needs for your child.

国际日活动将于9月22日星期六举行，这一天算正常上课日，所有学生老师必须到校参加活动。我们发了一封关于国际日的信，请填写最后一页关于照看孩子的部分并交回学校。

9월22일 토요일은 인터네셔널 데이 입니다. 이날은 교사 및 학생들의 등교일에 해당되는 날입니다. 인터네셔널 데이에 관한 자세한 공지가 각가정으로 전달되 예정입니다. 자녀관리에 관한 내용이 공지 마지막에 있으니 선택 및 기재하신후 학교로 보내주시기 바랍니다.

Next Tuesday, September 11^th is an EARLY DISMISSAL day at QISS. Students will be dismissed at 1pm with buses departing at 1pm. Teachers will be in professional development training in the afternoon.

下周二9月11日半天上课，下午1点放学，教师下午培训。

9월11일 다음주 화요일은 하프데이 입니다. 학생들은 오후 1시 점심식사후 하교합니다. 이날 오후 교사들의 교사전문회의가 열립니다.

Parents of ELL students are invited to an ELL information meeting on Monday, September 17^th. More information is in the flyer below, and a letter to each parent is coming home next week.

9월17일 월요일 ELL학생들의 학부모님들께서 ELL학부모 회의에 참석해 주시기 바랍니다. 이날 회의에 관한 자세한 내용이 아래에 나와있으니 확인부탁드리며 다음주에 각 가정으로 발송됩니다.

The Director’s swimming program continues each Saturday from 9am to noon. Please bring your parent badge to enter the gates. Last week we had over 40 students, parents and teachers join in for a dip in the pool.

校长家庭游泳活动每周六上午正常进行。参加者请带家长通行证入校。上周六来游泳池迎来了40余位师生家长参加活动。

디렉터 주관 가족수영 프로그램이 매주 토요일 오전 9시부터 12시까지 진행되고 있습니다. 출입시 학부모 통행증을 반드시 지참해 주시기 바랍니다. 지난주 40여명이 넘는 학생들과 교사 그리고 가족분들이 수영장에 모여 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

Our Early Childhood Program has some openings. Please share with your friends and community. Our teachers have a heart for children and will nurture their development emotionally, socially, and academically.
