Dear QISS Families and Friends,

Thank you for joining us at the Qingdao Sculpture Gallery this past weekend for the annual QISS Art Show or taking time during this past week to visit the gallery and experience the extraordinary pieces of art our students produced.

感谢您上周末前来参加青岛雕塑画廊举办的QISS年度艺术展，也感谢其它在过去的一周里抽出时间参观体验QISS学生创作的非凡艺术品的其它朋友们。

지난주 주말 청도조각공원 갤러리에서 열렸던 QISS 연례 아트쇼에 참가해주신 학부모님과 주중에 갤러리를 방문하여 학생들의 멋진 예술작품을 관람하러 오신 학부모님들께 감사의 말씀 드립니다.

Our goal was to share some of the stories we have read in art class through our love of different art mediums. We are proud of the students’ paintings, drawings, sculptures and mixed media creations. Our theatre department and digital storytelling class put together a nice theatrical performance on Saturday as well.

本次展览的主题是通过不同的艺术媒介来分享我们在艺术课上读到的一些故事。我们为学生们的绘画、素描、雕塑和多媒体创作感到骄傲。我校戏剧部和数字化故事叙述课的学生们也在星期六表演了一段精彩的短剧。

이번 아트쇼의 목적은 다른 예술매개체에 관한 열정에 관한 미술시간에 읽었던 여러 스토리를 함께 나눔에 있습니다.

저희는 학생들의 그림, 스케치, 조각 그리고 멀티미디어 창작품을 자랑스럽게 생각합니다. 이날은 연극부와 디지털 스토리텔링반이 함께 연극공연도 선보였습니다.

Reminder that next Tuesday, April 23^rd is an early dismissal day for the students at 1pm. Teachers will be collaborating later in the afternoon as part of their professional development training.

请注意，下周二(4月23日)是学生半天课的日子，下午1点放学。作为专业发展的一部分，教师们将在下午进行专业培训。

4월23일 화요일은 하프데이로 인해 1시에 하교합니다. 이날 오후 본교 교사들은 교사전문 트레이닝 세션에 참여하게 됩니다.

The annual ACAMIS MathQuest & Rubik’s Cube Challenge hosted by QISS is next Friday, April 26^th. We are excited to be hosting international schools and their top math students from around China on our campus.

QISS主办的年度ACAMIS MathQuest & Rubik挑战赛将于4月26日(下周五)举行。很高兴能在我们的校园里接待来自中国各地的国际学校和优秀的数学学生。

다음주 금요일인 4월26일에 QISS에서 연례 ACAMIS MathQuest와 루빅스큐브 대회가 열립니다. 저희는 중국 각지에서 온 수학에 재능있는 국제학교 학생들이 함께하는 이 대회를 기대하고 있습니다.

Approximately 150 students will be competing individually and in teams as they test their problem solving, analytical, and creativity skills during the event.

届时大约有150名学生在比赛中进行个人和团队的比赛，这将展现他们的问题解决能力、分析能力和创造力。

150여명의 학생들이 개인전과 팀전으로 나눠 문제를 풀고, 분석하고, 창의적 기술을 이용하여 겨루게 됩니다.

Later in the day, students will be testing their reflexes as they compete in the Rubik’s Cube time trials, culminating in a head-to-head knockout tournament.

当天下午，学生们将在魔方计时赛中展示他们的反应能力，终极对决将是一场面对面的淘汰赛。

이날 오후에는 토너먼트식 일대일 대결경기로 치뤄지는 루빅스 큐브 타임트라이얼을 겨루는 시간을 갖게됩니다.

We will hold a Basketball Skill Developmental Camp during the months of May and June to spread our “Love of the Game” with our students. The philosophy of our camp is to promote sportsmanship, proper skill development cues and most importantly, fun.

五、六月份我们将开展篮球训练营，来传播“热爱运动”的精神。此训练营的宗旨是发扬体育精神以及适当的技能发展，最重要的是享受运动的乐趣。

저희는 학생들에게 스포츠의 즐거움을 전하고자 5월과6월에 걸쳐 농구캠프를 개최합니다. 본 캠프는 스포츠정신을 배양하고 기술을 습득하며 무엇보다 즐겁게 농구를 배울수 있도록 진행할 예정입니다.

SCHOOL LIFE

Mrs. Rockwell’s grade 4 students are using mirrors to try and copy what their partner is writing in a lesson to understand how reflection works and how our brain processes information.
