Dear QISS Families and Friends,
November in the United States is traditionally a month to give thanks. The QISS staff is thankful to have such supportive parents. We are thankful for the opportunity to teach your children, watch them grow academically and socially, and nurture them when they may struggle. Your children thank you as well.
每年的11月在美国是一个充满感恩的月份。而在QISS，我们要感恩拥有这么多支持我们的家长，我们要感恩能有机会成为孩子们的老师，见证他们身心的成长历程并在他们艰难时给予鼓励。家长们，相信您的孩子也非常感谢您。

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Winter Masquerade Gala tickets can be purchased at school through the School Development Office. You may send money with your child or visit the school in person. We will be selling tickets at the QISS Talent Show on November 21st as well.
圣诞晚宴门票由学校发展部统一销售，家长们可以把钱交给孩子带到学校，或者亲自来学校购买。您也可以在11月21日才艺秀当天购票。
겨울 가면무도회 갈라 티켓이 School Development 사무실에서 판매되고 있습니다. 여러분의 자녀를 통하여 비용을 납부하시거나 학교에 직접 방문하셔서 구입 가능 합니다. 11월21일에 있는 탈렌트쇼에서도 구입하실수 있습니다.
Next Wednesday, November 14th is an early dismissal day for all students at QISS. The teachers will be in professional development sessions all afternoon. Children and busses will depart at 1pm.
11月14日星期三下午是我校教师培训的时间，学生上半天课，放学发车时间为下午13:00。
다음주 수요일인 11월14일은 하프데이 입니다. 이날 오후 전 교사들은 교사전문회의에 참석합니다. 본교 스쿨버스는 점심식사후 1시에 하교 합니다.
During the weekend of Oct. 25-27, the QISS Model United Nations team participated in the TIANMUN. The team was extremely successful and represented our school and the QISS community outstandingly. The MUN course is proud of our award winners:

The theme of this year’s conference was technology. In preparation, these chairpersons chose and developed topics related to the theme. The delegates prepared by researching these topics and by drafting solutions for these 21st century problems.
今年会议的主题是科技。在筹备工作中，这些主席们选择并拟订了与主题有关的话题。代表们通过研究这些话题和起草解决21世纪问题的方案来准备会议。
올해의 의제는 기술-technology 였습니다. 준비단계에서 의장단들은 이번 의제에 관련된 주제를 선정 및 검토 하였습니다. 대표단들은 주제를 조사하고 21세기가 직면한 문제들의 해결방안을 모색하였습니다.
