QISS Weekly Update: 2018-2019 Week 0

Dear QISS Families and Friends,

Welcome back Sharks! The 2018-2019 school year for QISS will begin on Monday, August 13^th. We are looking forward to seeing all your children return to the halls and classrooms of QISS. As a reminder, the school day begins at 8:20am and concludes at 3:30pm. Enjoy your final week of summer holiday!

欢迎回来鲨鱼队！QISS 2018-2019学年将于8月13日星期一开学，我们期待见到所有的孩子回到校园中来。别忘记学校的上课时间是早8:20至下午3:30。好好享受假期的最后一周吧！

돌아온 여러분들을 환영합니다! 2018-19학년도의 새학년 시작이 8월13일 월요일에 시작됩니다. 저희는 여러분의 자녀들을 교내에서 만나길 기대하고 있습니다. 학교는 8시 20분에 시작하며 3시30분에 하교 합니다. 개학전 마지막 여름방학 한주를 즐겁게 보내시기 바랍니다!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The “New” student orientation is schedule for Thursday, August 9^th beginning at 2pm. Students that are new to QISS have been invited to get acquainted with the campus, ask some questions, and meet a few teachers. All returning students’ first day is August 13^th.

新生见面会将于8月9日星期四下午2点举行。我们邀请新同学来熟悉熟悉学校环境、解答疑问、见见你们的老师。老生开学是8月13日。

신입생 오리엔테이션이 8월9일 목요일 오후 2시부터 시작됩니다. 올해 처음 QISS에 입학한 학생들은 교내 캠퍼스와 궁금한 질문 그리고 새로운 선생님들을 만나볼수 있습니다. 재학생 학생들의 첫 등교일은 8월13일임을 다시한번 알려드립니다.

The swimming pool will be open for “Director’s Swim” starting Saturday, August 25^th. The pool will be open for QISS families from 9am to Noon each Saturday until the middle of October. We look forward to seeing everyone there and enjoying a break from the heat.

“校长家庭游泳活动”将于8月25日星期六重新开放，该活动每周六上午9点至中午时间举行，期待你们的到来，让我们共同享受这一夏日清凉。

정기 디렉터 가족 수영프로그램이 8월25일 토요일에 본교 수영장에서 시작됩니다. 수영장은 QISS가족들께10월 중순까지 매주 토요일 오전 9시부터 낮 12시까지 오픈됩니다. 무더운 여름 학교에서 제공하는 무료 수영 프로그램에 함께하셔서 즐거운 시간 보내시기 바랍니다.

Yearbooks and report cards will be given out the first week to all returning students that did not pick up during the summer holiday.

放假前没有来得及拿Yearbook和成绩单的学生开学后第一个星期我们会发给大家。

방학중 학교에서 지난 학년도 이얼북과 성적표를 픽업하지 않은 학생들은 새학년 담임선생님을 통해 첫주에 전달됩니다.

QISS has made a few updates this summer while we were all away. The hallways have been re-painted with vibrant colors. The computer labs have been updated with new computers. The internet has been upgraded and access points have been added throughout the building. There is no doubt the kids will enjoy the colorful environment and benefit from the technology changes at QISS.

这个暑假QISS增加了不少变化，楼道粉刷为各种不同的颜色，电脑教室配备了新电脑，网络进行了升级并增加了接入点。相信孩子们将非常喜欢这个五彩绚丽的新环境并受益于计算机设备的更新。

방학동안 교내의 몇몇 변화된 사항을 알려드립니다. 교내의 복도벽은 밝은 색으로 새롭게 페인트칠 되었습니다. 컴퓨터실은 새로운 컴퓨터를 마련하였고 교내 인터넷망은 속도를 업그레이드 하였습니다. 이러한 변화는 학생들이 매우 반갑게 느끼리라 생각됩니다.
