Dear QISS Families and Friends,
Thank you for attending the student-led conferences this week. We hope you enjoyed listening to your child talk about their highlights this year and where they would like to grow educationally. We are winding down the year, but the activities and events are going strong. Please make note of the changes to some of our events at the bottom of this blog edition.
感谢您参加本周的学生主导会议。我们希望您喜欢听你的孩子谈论他们今年的亮点，以及他们自己认为自己需要进步的地方。尽管本学年即将结束，但是我们的活动却并没有减少请注意在本文末对我们的一些活动的更改。
이번주 학생주도 회의에 참석해주신 학부모님들께 감사의 말씀드립니다. 올해 학생들의 부각된점을 자랑스럽게 들으시고 학생들이 더욱더 성장하고 싶은 부분에 관하여 알게 되셨길 바랍니다. 이제 한학년을 마무리 하는 시기지만 여전히 학교에서의 다양한 행사와 활동은 진행됩니다. 본 블로그 하단에 있는 다양한 학교 행사의 변경에 관하여 다시한번 확인해 주시기 바랍니다.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
On Saturday, May 26th our Senior Class of 2018 will walk across the stage to receive their American high school diploma. Congratulations to all of them!
5月26日星期六，我们的2018届高中毕业生将走上讲台，接受他们的美国高中毕业证书。祝贺他们！
5월26일 토요일에는 2018학년도 12학년 졸업반 학생들의 미국 고등학교 졸업장 수여식이 있습니다. 졸업생 모두 축하드립니다!
Next Wednesday, May 30th is our QISS Sports Day. Every year we celebrate sport and fitness with fun competitions and activities for all of our kids. Thank you to the PTA for providing snacks and feeding the kids hot dogs.
下周三，5月30日是我们QISS运动会。每年我们都要为我们的孩子们举办各种有趣的比赛和活动来庆祝。感谢PTA会提供零食和热狗。
다음주 5월30일 수요일은 스포츠데이 입니다. 저희는 매년 다양한 스포츠와 학생들이 즐길수 있는 즐거운 운동경기와 활동으로 이날을 즐기고 있습니다. 핫도그와 다양한 스낵을 제공해주시는 PTA 학부모님께 감사의 말씀 드립니다.
Saturday, June 2nd is our Quarter 4 Key Assignment Day. This is a regular scheduled school day and buses will pick up students in the morning as usual. Dismissal is at 3pm.
星期六,6月2日是我们第四单元课业汇报展。校车将会跟往常一样接孩子上学，放学时间为下午三点。
6월2일 토요일은 4번째 쿼터의 키어사인먼트가 진행됩니다. 이날은 정상수업일에 해당하는 날이며 평소와 같은 시간에 스쿨버스가 운행됩니다. 하교는 오후 3시에 시작됩니다.
Also, on Saturday, June 2nd is our annual spring concert. The concert will start at 1pm in the auditorium. We invite QISS families and friends to join us that day.
另外，6月2日星期六也是我们一年一度的春季音乐会。音乐会将于下午1点在礼堂举行。我们邀请所有QISS朋友们来参加。
6월2일 토요일은 또한 정기 봄 음악회가 있습니다. 공연은 1시에 본교 대강당에서 진행됩니다. 많은 여러분들의 참석 부탁드립니다.
SCHOOL LIFE
Mr. Josh’s grade 1 students were making predictions during a unit on volume and measurement.

In Grade 1, Ms. Gina’s students are practicing for student-led conferences with their peers.

In Grade 3, Ms. Rockwell and the students were investigating which objects are attracted and repelled by magnets.

In the Grade 5 classroom, Mr. Jay and Mr. Z collaborate during a lesson to maximize its effectiveness and help allow for differentiation to better meet their students’ individual needs.

5학년 두 학급에서는 학생들의 개별적 학습도움을 통하여 학생들의 각각의 학습을 극대화 시키고자 협력수업을 하고 있습니다.
The “Hollywood” themed high school prom for QISS was a big success. This year’s event took place at the Hyatt Regency this past weekend. Thank you to all the staff, students and parents that made the night special for our students.
以“好莱坞”为主题的高中毕业舞会取得了很大的成功。今年的舞会是上周在凯悦酒店举行的。谢谢全体员工、学生和家长，他们为我们带来了一个特别的夜晚。
고등학교 무도회인 prom이 올해는 헐리우드 테마로 즐겁게 진행 되었습니다. 올해는 하얏트 레전시 호텔에서 지난주에 진행되었습니다. 특별한 추억을 만들수 있도록 도와 주신 교사, 학생 그리고학부모님께도 감사의 말씀 드립니다.

May 26th – High School Senior Graduation Ceremony (1pm)
May 29th – PEP Talk for current G11 students families.
May 30th – Sports Day
June 2 – Q4 Key Assignment (regular school day with buses)
June 2 – Spring Concert (1pm in the QISS theatre)
June 8 – Awards Ceremony and final day of school (dismiss at 1pm)
