Welcome back from the Spring Festival holiday. We hope you were able to rest and spend time with family. The school year is moving forward this 3rd quarter with a variety of activities and events for our QISS students & parents. Please look at the calendar to see what is approaching.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Next Tuesday, March 6th at 9am is our first Admissions’ Open House. Please share this information with friends in the community who might be looking for a new school home. Tell them our story and about the great things happening at QISS. We appreciate your continued support in partnering with us to make the QISS school community stronger.

On Wednesday, March 7th, students will be dismissed at 1pm. Buses will depart at 1pm. Teachers will be using the afternoon for professional development activities.
3月7日星期三下午1点，学生们只上半天课。校车将于下午一点发车。

SCHOOL LIFE
In Grade 1, Ms. Gina’s class is inquiring the sun and hoping to use the sun to make sun prints.
一年级, Ms. Gina的课上，学生们正在利用太阳制作太阳打印机。

In PE class, Coach Justin’s grade 4 students are working on skill development. Here they are working on the mechanics of throwing and catching a baseball.

In Chinese class, Ms. April’s grade 3 students are having fun using an app to play a game that supports the students’ learning of sports.

In Grade 2, Ms. Jill’s students were experimenting with different types of erosion and how different land masses are affected.
