• QISS would like to thank those parents who attended the Open House events last week. We hope you found these evenings informative and gave you a better understanding of the QISS educational program.
• On Monday, September 19, the Upper School Principals and the school's Guidance Counsellor will conduct a coffee morning to discuss the AP Program, the Middle School concept and the college placement program. The coffee morning will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 in US room 402. We hope you will be able to attend.
• International Day is coming up on Saturday, September 24th and we are looking for parents who wish to get involved in various activities such as storytelling, musical performances, etc. Please click the following link for the information letter regarding how you can participate in this event. • Upper School Field Trip week will take place October 17 - 21. Please return your permission slips as soon as possible if you have not already done so.

• With unanimous agreement, the Fifth Grade just loved the excursion to Zhan Shan Temple last Friday. The whole Buddhist community all came out with the greatest of generosity toward the class, welcoming each and every one with a warm heart. Many thanks are due to Miao Feng, the esteemed monk who made our visit possible and so utterly enjoyable.
