New students and returning students recognized at the first Lower School Assembly on Friday morning
- Wednesday, September 1: Student half-day; students dismissed at 1:00
- Saturday, September 4: QISS International Day/Open House.
- Parents are encouraged to bring a food dish representing their home country's cuisine.
- Students, Parents and Teachers are encouraged to dress in their home country's traditional dress.
- 8:30 A.M.: Students report to their homeroom
- 9:00-10:00: All lower school students participate in field activities under the direction of Mr. Dominic Adie and Ms. Laney Rweyemamu. During this time, parents will have time to meet with teachers.
- 9:00-10:00: All upper school students participate in an arts activity under the direction of Mr. Allen Miles and Ms. Sahba Fanaian. During this time, parents will have time to meet with teachers.
- 10:00-10:30 Recess for all student.
- 10:30-11:30: All upper school students participate in field activities under the direction of Mr. Dominic Adie and Ms. Laney Rweyemamu. During this time, parents will have time to meet with teachers.
- 10:30-11:30: All lower school students participate in an arts activity under the direction of Mr. Allen Miles and Ms. Sahba Fanaian. During this time, parents will have time to meet with teachers.
- 11:30-12:30: Lunch
- 12:30-1:00: Recess
- 1:00-2:45: International activites planned by the International Day/Open House Committee
- Wednesday, September 22: Mid-autumn Festival: No classes
- Wednesday and Thursday, September 29-30: Parent/Teacher Conferences. Half-day for students. Student dismissal at 1:00.
