- Congratulations to all participants in the first Qingdao International Schools Network (QISN) talent show.
- Jinnie Yoon, Daniel Yoon, and Lina Emrich won Best of Show
- Cindy Lee and Amy Oh won Best Costumes
- Aerial Kim, Juliana Wang, and Sara Wang won (pictured above) won Best Cultural Act
- Vini Rosa and Simon Emrich won Best Acting
- October 23: Student Council Halloween Dance at LPG (162 Jiangxi Lu) 6:00-10:00. The students will have a separate room supervised by several QISS teachers. There will be no alcohol or smoking.
- October 28 Middle School Assembly 8:45 in room 208. Parents are invited to watch percussion performances.
- October 28 PAC (Parent Advisory Committee) meeting 1:15 at QISS.
- October 30 Halloween: Students are encouraged to bring costumes. We will have trick-or-treating and a costume contest and parade at 3:00 outside the cafeteria. Children may NOT bring knives or guns as part of a costume.
- October 29-November 2 ACAMIS Boys and Girls Volleyball tournament in Ningbo.
- October 30 QISN soccer and table tennis games for grades 3-5.
- November 2: Half- day for teacher development. Students will be released at 1:00.
