Art can be about many things. Art is often about expression, exploration, and taking chances. But most of all art is a celebration. The paradox of artistry is that it makes the very difficult appear instinctive and easy, like breathing in and out. Art is so compelling, because the finished work dazzles the mind and demands a leap of imagination to picture the struggle that has gone into its conception.
Expressing oneself in art is one of the earliest forms of communication. Since time immemorial, paintings by cultures reveal to us that people have the need to express themselves in pictures; an indelible mark on a cave wall encrypted a story or became a symbol for an ancient clan. Early generations discovered the power of art in transforming peoples' lives. The power of art can make a difference in people's lives of all ages. From ancient times to today, art has transformed lives. This is the power of art.
